The application of silica sol in textile

The combination of silica sol and synthetic lanolin increases the cohesion between the fibers, increases the tensile strength, improves the production efficiency, and can spin high-count products.
In the wool spinning process, silica sol is used as a sizing aid for diameter spinning to reduce the breakage rate of wool fibers. The coating contains titanate fibers, and silica sol can improve the surface thermal strength of inorganic fiber materials. The amount of silica sol is usually controlled within 2-5%. The best adding state is to add wool and short hair at the first start, but silica sol contains a certain amount of water, which should be included in the machine's moisture regain.

When cars, tanks, etc. make sharp turns, the electrolyte sulfuric acid of the lead battery is likely to overflow. If a certain amount of silica sol is added to the sulfuric acid to make it gel, the leakage and overflow of the sulfuric acid can be prevented, and the service life of the battery can be prolonged.
